The “Grassroots” internship program aims to tackle the high national youth unemployment rate by placing candidates without prior work experience in participating companies. So far, we have successfully placed 26 interns with an average retention rate of 60%, meaning that they were offered full-time employment after completion of the programme.
Before placing candidates, we profile them to understand their career vision and prepare them for placement interviews. Since the program’s launch in 2015, we have profiled over 200 candidates in Benoni, Boksburg, Boshoff, and Stellenbosch. We have delivered 29 internship programmes to date.
Through our profiling sessions, we have had the pleasure of meeting candidates from diverse backgrounds. Their determination and passion to achieve their goals inspire us to support them wholeheartedly. We believe that everyone has a unique story to tell, and we feel privileged to be a part of their journey.
As we move forward, we are excited to continue fostering these meaningful relationships and being a part of our candidates’ remarkable stories.
