With the new year just around the corner we are taking a moment to summarise the events that have unfolded in the past months.

2023 has been another busy year for us at The Gryphon Foundation.  We have conducted multiple profiling sessions throughout the year amongst other fruitful activities.

The profiling sessions are where the programme is pitched, and the candidates are given tools to help them clarify their values and aspirations.  Through such events, we always meet ambitious individuals who seek support to pursue their dreams.

In August 2023, we initiated our first profiling session outside the local community.  It was quite an experience having the team travel down to the Western Cape.  Regardless of the challenges that arose during the taxi strikes, we were able to make an impact on candidates who took extraordinary steps to attend the profiling session.

Amidst all this activity, there has been several active internship programmes’ taking place in the year.  We are pleased to inform you that three of our interns have been offered permanent employment!

This means that three families have been impacted and are one step closer to breaking through the poverty threshold as a household.  This continues to inspire us to pursue our purpose to sculpt potential and vision into passion and purpose that opens doors to active economic participation in order to generate a legacy for future generations.

It does not matter what the “bit” is that makes a difference, but here is our bit towards social relevance and economic impact.  You can assist us to empower more individuals to look after their families, finish their studies and most importantly live their purpose.
